Campsites

The top image is the hankerchief sized piece of grass (no picnic table/grill/etc) I paid nearly twice as much for at the KOA I happened on last night ($21) than the huge water side site I had the night before ---- but tired campers can't be picky. And they did have plug ins and the internet.

The next two photo's are of the waterside site I stayed in Saturday and Sunday nights. It was from that picnic table that I got to watch 4 or 5 different sets of fireworks on the 4th. Was wonderful and the bugs were hardly a problem.

The final picture is one of that pitiful tarp job I did ... *lol* ... well, it did keep me in the shade and it did hold up in high winds.

Wonder where I'll be laying my head tonight!

Those look awesome. I remember the first time I went camping by my own, it was filled with so many emotions that they still resonate today.

It was a fun time! Except for the car breaking down near Souris, PEI and forgetting my Visa in a shop in Moncton and not finding out until I needed to pay for car repairs....thank goodness YOU had money! LOL...I still camp and I do know how to put up a tent and stuff like that, but nowadays there just isn't a lot of cute young guys *wanting* to do it for me....

I think you had a prime spot for the 4th. Looks like you have everything you need. Including tunes, right? Thanks for sharing the photos and the commentary. Very nice.
